College of the Atlantic seeks a full-time Assistant Director of Buildings, Grounds, and Campus Safety. Some key responsibilities of this position include assisting in coordinating and managing all aspects of the physical plant, assisting in supervising all members of the Buildings and Grounds team, and assisting in coordinating project management of new building projects and ongoing building renovations, as well as all grounds initiatives and plans across campus. This position also oversees the training of drivers and the maintenance and scheduling of vehicles in the college’s fleet. Minimum of three years of relevant experience with increasing managerial responsibilities or relevant bachelor’s degree; knowledge of relevant federal, state, and municipal regulations; understanding of and enthusiasm for College of the Atlantic’s mission and programs is preferred.
