DLHASTINGS is a general contractor in Southwest Portland focused on all things exterior – from custom fences and decks to siding, garages, hardscapes, and more. It's fun, local work filled with variety, creativity and problem solving. We're looking for a craftsperson that enjoys doing different things. One job may focus heavily on carpentry (building a deck or an exterior staircase) while another might involve pointing up a chimney or installing pavers. You don't have to be an expert at everything - we're more interested in you having the desire to branch out, the ability grow with a small, talented team and an overall love of building. Here are the must haves: - Good attitude - Great with tools of all kinds - Enjoy being outside (almost all of our work is outside, year round) - Not afraid to try new things - Able to lift heavy weight on a regular basis - Works well with others - Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and have your own basic hand tools.
