HUNTINGTON, NY — The construction of a $24 million, 80-room Hampton Inn & Suites hotel in Huntington is underway and slated to be open by October 2021, Newsday reported. The project is taking place at the site of the former Town Hall, originally built in 1910 at Main Street and Stewart Avenue.
