This position is responsible for helping receive furniture merchandise shipments at our warehouse, as well as unloading, unboxing and building furniture for delivery. A positive attitude and the ability to work with others are required. 40 hours per week. Pay: $19.00/hour. Job Type: Full-time (Part-time employment can be negotiated, but benefits will be altered). Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • 8-hour shift • Weekend availability • Year-round work GENERAL DUTIES: • Pulling furniture at the warehouse and loading it onto the transfer truck. • Unloading new merchandise shipments and helping to put them away. • Checking in/examining furniture that arrives to the warehouse from our store. • Stripping/assembling/inspecting furniture for delivery. • Making bales of cardboard and plastic. • Assisting with furniture repairs as needed. • Assisting with truck maintenance as needed. • General cleanup and heavy lifting. • Going out on deliveries as needed. • Other duties as assigned. • Order picker/forklift experience helpful but not necessary.
