Position Title: Packaging – 2nd or 3rd Shift Wage: $18.76/hour Shift: 2nd or 3rd Hours: 2:30pm – 10:30pm or 10:30pm – 6:30am Feeling underpaid or undervalued? This is a potential to hire position for 2nd or 3rd shift. Apply now! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Evaluate product entering packaging for quality standards - Remove substandard product from the line - Remove packaged product from conveyor line - Place packaged product into baskets - Start and adjust slicers and packaging machinery - Request necessary repairs from the maintenance team - Straighten product progressing along a conveyor line - Start, adjust and monitor packaging equipment - Operate palletizing and bagging equipment - Monitor and operate sticker machines and pattern makers - Maintain counts of finished product to meet orders generated - Adhere to safety, food safety, quality regulations as well as Good Manufacturing Practices Requirements for Packaging: - High School Diploma or GED - Related food manufacturing and/or machine operating experience preferred Benefits: - 401K - Disability insurance - Paid holidays QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic.
