SIX LAYING HENS NEED NEW, HAPPY HOME Our rental is being sold, so now we must find a good home for our sweet hens!! These hens have just turned 2 years old and are healthy, active layers. During prime laying months, each hen lays, on average, 1 egg every other day, though occasionally more. Eggs are medium to extra-large in size and vary in color from creamy-beige to brown. PLEASE NOTE: Our scruffy-looking Lavender will be molting soon - chickens do not lay while molting!
