Private Drum Instructors Needed Texas Amps & Axes: School of Music located in Downtown Prosper, Texas is actively hiring drum Teachers for children and adults of all ages. Our growing Music School is currently home to over 500 students and has an active Wait List of more than 30 students. We are currently looking for drum teachers. Our studio is different! We are relationship-oriented and family-focused. We are looking for outgoing, driven, FUN teachers who genuinely love what they’re doing but also KNOW their craft. We don’t teach kids how to just play songs, we teach them how to master their instrument and understand music to the fullest. Candidate Requirements: Must be able to sightread music Have a solid grasp of music theory Minimum of 2 years private music instruction. Performance experience is a PLUS! Comfortable working with students ages 6 to 100 Must be able to teach variety of musical skill levels Willing to teach in person (fully sanitized studios) Must be available at least 2 days a week (Studio Hours: Monday to Friday 3 pm to 8 pm and Saturdays 11 am to 3 pm) Must reside in the DFW Area - this IS NOT a remote position Bonus points for teachers who can teach multiple instruments! All Teaching positions are Contract positions and pay rate is based on the number of days you teach in studio, teaching experience AND your education. Pay Rate ranges between $38-42 per hour.
