COLD SPRING HARBOR, NY — The Cold Spring Harbor Junior-Senior High School building closed Friday as a student tested positive for the coronavirus, according to reports.
Parents were informed of the positive case Thursday in a letter from superintendent Robert C. Fenter, and it was not made known when the building will reopen, Newsday reported. The letter didn't say when the student was last in the building, according to Newsday.
All classes were conducted remotely on Friday, Huntington Now reported. The Suffolk Department of Health was reached by the district to start a contact tracing investigation.
