Description
I am a producer/songwriter that has written a couple albums in the above mentioned style. Pre pandemic I had a group together and was touring the project, since then the other members have left the NYC area. I've performed solo a few times but would really prefer to get a band together!
I'm looking to have weekly rehearsals and play gigs. Players should be comfortable improvising and ideally should be able to pick up parts from recordings. Aside from basic structure I'd like members of the band to feel free to play how they wish, I'm not interested in recreating the recordings note for note. I have plenty of material for us to draw from so we can get started right away.
The music uses a wide range of textures, I'm open to trying any combination - especially acoustic instruments! If you're interested in playing write me an email, tell me a little about yourself and link some music you've made in the past! I'll happily send you my records in return!
