What is your dream? Short stories? Romance? Thriller? Futurism? Sci-fi? Fantasy? What's the world you've always wanted to go to but haven't found the bandwidth to get to. Well here you can create that world. And we can help create it with you. I am building a writers group that is serious about their writing and committed to putting out their work into the world within the next ten years. This is a very serious group. Cliche isn't it? But yes, this group is set on a mission to produce the writers of tomorrow. If you want to do that, if you want to get that book out for your system so you can really start working on that goal, you've come to the right place. We will be actively progressing projects during our time together. We will be critiquing each other's work whenever we meet. Critiques are extremely important to this group in order to progress our work. We will read approximately one book every week or so and discuss it as well, looking to improve our writing by breaking them down and investigating what worked for us and what didn't. I can introduce newcomers to new ideas that this group will be using. I am willing to spend up to a month 'training' a new member in the techniques we will be using. All that's important to me is to make sure you are as determined as I am by the end of that month and have the tools necessary to contribute to the group. I don't want to scare you, but this will take a lot of work. Excuses are understood, but if I get the impression that you are commiting to a different schedule than the group that has not been pre-approved by me, you will be asked to move on. The same applies to goals. Your goals need to be perfectly clear so that if they don't allign with the group I can still consider where you fit in. What's most important is that you enjoy yourself in this process. Yes it will be a lot of work. Yes it might feel exhausting and difficult at times. But I'm not looking to make things easy for us. I'm looking to reach a goal within myself, and, by virtue of that, others.
