Putting together a new wave/post-punk project to do something thematic along the lines of Skankbanger, Smooth Sailor, Boogie Knights, Teen Spirit, etc. Need synth/keys (obviously) and guitar, one of them with lead vocals, and a solid drummer. If you were alive and fully cognizant when these songs were originally released, not going to be the project for you. Potential set lists would include: Talking Heads - Psycho Killer, Once in A Lifetime, Burning Down the House Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer, Big Time, Shock the Monkey New Order - Ceremony, Blue Monday, Bizarre Love Triangle Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart, Disorder Tears for Fears - Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Mad World Blondie - Heart of Glass, Call Me Bowie - Let’s Dance, Fashion the Cure - Lovesong, Just Like Heaven Police - Don’t Stand So Close to Me, Every Breath You Take Clash - London Calling, Rock the Casbah Talk Talk - It’s My Life, Living in Another World Toto - Rosanna, Africa Various others by Devo, Prince, Depeche Mode, XTC, Thompson Twins, Flock of Seagulls, etc. Reply with some examples of your playing/singing.
