Position Summary Carry out projects, installations and repairs in all areas of the floor as assigned by Facility Manager. Coordinate preventative maintenance efforts with other team members with short notice respond to facility breakdowns and other emergencies. Overall Responsibilities Carry out projects, installations and repairs in all areas of the floor as assigned by Supervisor. Coordinate preventative maintenance efforts with other team members. Follow operation manuals, diagrams, manufacturer’s specifications. Support the initiatives set forth by the Facilities Manager related to the day to day maintenance/upkeep of the facilities. Perform detailed preventative maintenance Repair, replace and maintain in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer’s specifications. Support coordination of third parties and ordering parts. Knowledgeable and skillful in work related fields Electrical Electronic Mechanical Distribution Automation Knowledgeable PLC and ladder programming Workshop equipment (Lathe, mill, welding etc.) Be familiar with constructional make-up of the building Electrical WIFI/IDF Plumbing and sprinkler systems Heating and cooling systems Alarm systems Plant Safety Responsibility: Support the facility safety plans and objectives Developmental Skills Electrical & Mechanical background Excellent troubleshooting Qualifications Must be team oriented Possess PC computer skills Must possess strong analytical/problem solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be self-directed and goal oriented Must have knowledge of commercial power distribution Advanced diagnostic/troubleshooting skills Ability to train junior personnel Able to lead/direct projects and repairs in all areas of the floor as assigned by Manager Coordinates preventative maintenance efforts Ability to motivate team and establish positive morale Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Advanced knowledge in blueprint/electrical drawings 5+ years of maintenance experience in a fast-paced distribution environment Physical Demands Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs. Ability to operate lift equipment Able to walk approximately five (5) miles per day Ability to handle high stress loads Environmental Conditions Automated Distribution Environment
