SHREWSBURY, MA — It's scholarship season and high school seniors in Shrewsbury have one more application they can add to their list. The Town of Shrewsbury Scholarship Fund application was released on Thursday. The only requirements for the scholarship are that applicants are graduating seniors and residents of the town. The deadline to complete the application is 4 p.m. on March 12. Applications should be mailed or hand delivered to the Board of Selectmen. The application consists of questions about students grades, volunteer and extra curricular activities as well as the financial status of the student's family. There are brief spaces for short answers and explanations but no formal essay question. The application can be downloaded online.
