HUNTINGTON, NY — The Huntington Winter Farmers Market was recognized with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday. Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci and town officials joined Lona Graepel from Long Island Farmers Markets in the town's John J. Flanagan Center for the ceremony.
"Who doesn't love a farmer's market?!," Lupinacci said via news release. "Thanks to Lona Graepel from Long Island Farmers Markets for keeping the 'shop local' tradition going through the cold weather months!"
The Huntington Winter Farmers Market is scheduled to run every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through March 27, 2021, at the John J. Flanagan Center at 423 Park Ave., Huntington.
