DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: A Repair Technician Helper (Technician Helper) is responsible for the removal, replacement, and treatment of damaged wood members. These services included but are not limited to; painting, removal and replacement of wood members damaged by fungi, molds, weather, and wood destroying insects. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must successfully pass drug screening and background check. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE: 1. General construction experience, emphasis on wood construction and repairs 2. Able to learn and use of hand, corded and battery-operated construction tools 3. The ability to read, write, learn, and communicate in English effectively PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Use of Hands, Fingers, Standing, Walking, Sitting, Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Communicating, Smelling, Lifting and Carrying 50 lbs. +/-. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: • Compensation: $20 +/- hour based on experience and licensing. • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Paid Vacation, Sick, Aflac, AD&D. (Optional for Fulltime Employees Only) WORK HOURS: Termite Repair Technician Helper hours are Monday – Saturday, 7am to 4pm, must be willing to work overtime. The ability to report for duty on time for scheduled shifts is mandatory.
