Job description Must Complete Application Online for Consideration: www.stlandscaping.com Special Touch Landscaping is currently interviewing for experienced Landscape Foremen and experienced Laborers. The ideal Foreman must be able to work in the field and have the ability to run a crew. They must be willing to work in Houston and the surrounding areas. Company is located in the North Houston area. We are a growing company and we need long term, career-minded people on our team. Essential Job Duties and Requirements: •Maintain company standards in all interactions, including but not limited to, interactions with clients and personnel. •Responsible for delivering a quality service that exceeds customers' expectations. •Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the day to day work activities of landscape crews. •Delegate job tasks to appropriate crew members to assist in the completion of landscape projects •Ensure daily safety inspections of equipment, vehicles and job site. •Ensure operating machines have been oiled, cleaned, and fuel has been checked in accordance with company procedures prior to the start of each day, between job sites, and at the end of each day. •Initiate repair of any malfunctioning or unsafe equipment. •Communicate with Supervisor on topics such as, but not limited to, crew members, equipment issues, and job related concerns. •Ensure proper maintenance of company vehicles and report all accidents / damage / malfunctions to management immediately. •Perform landscape and maintenance duties, including but not limited to, pruning, planting, and mowing. •Complete and submit all required paperwork on a daily basis, including: any daily site meeting logs, crew work orders, equipment daily inspection forms, attendance tracking, requests for time off, etc. •Train crew members the necessary job skills and proper practices necessary to carry out jobs in accordance with company and industry standards to achieve optimal performance. •Manage and adjust irrigation systems. Having an irrigation license is a PLUS! •Must have strong eye for details as it pertains to property maintenance. Qualifications: •Supervisor experience; 2+ year managing crews. •General knowledge of landscape maintenance, landscape construction and equipment. •Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape practices. •Valid drivers' license and ability to meet company guidelines for driver eligibility. •Strong conflict resolution and organizational skills. •Effective communication skills (both verbal and written). •Good physical condition, hardworking, self-motivator, with good leadership skills. •It is crucial that this person have a positive, team-oriented attitude. •Carry and use a smart phone or data-enabled device for communication and reporting. • ALL POSITIONS ARE BASED ON YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE •Opportunity to earn overtime pay and same-day pay on weekends!
