Pries Enterprises is hiring a Maintenance Technician to identify equipment issues and repairs needed. The ideal Maintenance Technician candidate will have direct maintenance experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. This position is in Independence, IA. Pries Enterprises is a family-owned aluminum extrusion manufacturer that started in 1976 and serves a variety of industries located in the Midwest and throughout the United States. Job Duties: • Respond to radio calls from production • Complete work orders accurately • Work efficiently unsupervised to complete projects in a timely manner • Keep work areas clean and organized Job Requirements: • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing maintenance experience • Background in troubleshooting hydraulics and mechanical issues • Ability to learn new computer software as needed • Experience with PLC systems, a plus • Must have a basic knowledge of welding and fabrication Shifts: • 12-hour rotation shifts • 6 AM - 6 PM • 6 PM - 6 AM (shift differential offered) It is an exciting time to join this growing organization.
