solid drummer looking for a project

Western Mass based drummer looking for the right project. I have a broad range of influences, but mostly gravitate toward simple, solid, groove-oriented drumming along the lines of Watts, Jordan, Keltner, Stubblefield, Purdie, etc. I am adamantly opposed to the idea of a 'drum solo'. Any drummer who thinks he ought to get a solo doesn't understand the role of a drummer, IMHO. I'm game for most genres, but nothing too heavy (Metal, Punk, etc.), and absolutely no bro-country, although I'm not averse to alt-country. Let me know what you're up to. I'd be willing to join an existing group seeking a new drummer, or even join a bass player and/or guitar player to start something new. I also play guitar, bass and keys and write songs, so there's the possibility of songwriting collaboration as well as some 'musical chairs' if it makes sense. Thanks for reading
