A multicultural event featuring digital stories and discussion created by refugee and U.S. born mothers about pandemic experiences. Sharing Our Story and Hello Neighbor feature the stories from workshops created by mothers from Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Congo and the Unites States about personal experiences they encountered during the pandemic. This event will feature African food tasting and entertainment of drumming and dancing by Sankofa Village for the Arts. The event will include a facilitated discussion exploring the impact on refugee and U.S. born mothers who persevered hardships.
