Join Us for the AMC Spring Festival at Noble View Outdoor Center! Come celebrate spring with the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Western Massachusetts Chapter as we hold our first Spring Fest celebration on Sunday May 22, 2022 with events starting at 9am and continuing through the afternoon. We want to share with you what we do as an AMC chapter and give you a chance to explore AMC’s beautiful Noble View Outdoor Center located in Russell, MA. The day will start with a variety of guided outdoor activities including a bike ride, hikes, and paddling from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. (Some of these activities will take place on the Noble View campus, and others will take place nearby.) In the afternoon, participants will be invited up to Noble View for a trail lunch and have an opportunity to visit exhibits and demonstrations offered by our various activity committees. The afternoon will culminate with a recognition of our amazing volunteers. Spring Fest will be held rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather. Some morning activities may be canceled due to rain (registrants will be notified if that happens). Parking is available on site but limited, so please carpool when possible and follow signs and attendants’ directions. We recommend that you bring water bottles and folding chairs so you can relax on the grounds. This event is open to all and free of charge. Advance registration is required and is limited to 300 people.
