Learn the basics of making paper in different colors, textures and foliage for a unique handmade look. Join Sheri on Saturday Jun 4th 11-2pm for Paper Making. Sheri introduces students to the basics of making paper. In this fun and informative workshop we'll show you simple papermaking that you can do at home using an ordinary kitchen blender, frames, and a variety paper from book pages to junk mail. You'll learn what to do in this eco-friendly process that is chemical free. You'll be able to create papers you can use for a variety of art and craft processes. In this class you will learn: How to create paper pulp. How to make recycled paper.Adding embellishments like flowers, plants, thread, seeds and even glitter into your paper. Different ways to dry your paper. Cost is $22 includes all supplies and entertainment. Dress for a mess and bring your snacks and drinks. Feel free to bring additional materials to add for a personal touch. Ages 16+ with a minimum of 3 max of 8.
