Water Filter Workshop! 6/25/22 - Learn about water resiliency, make potable water from local streams, build a 2-bucket filter system.
When a major disaster happens in Oregon, our water systems may be damaged. What's your plan for staying hydrated and clean, if the water stops flowing for weeks? In this workshop, Cedar Hills Ready! and QuakeUp! volunteers will discuss strategies for ensuring your water resiliency during a disaster. We'll demonstrate how to create potable water from our local water sources using a couple of different methods and tools. If you buy the kit materials, you can build a two-bucket water filtration system to take home with you. (See video below.)
