Plumbing Shop Delivery Driver

The Shop Driver position is crucial for the successful operation of our company. Shop driver will work in close coordination with our warehouse manager, both of whom report into our purchasing agent. Standard work hours are 7am – 3:30pm with overtime eligibility. Start and end times can vary based on work-load on a given day. Responsibilities include: • Daily deliveries from our warehouse to various job sites throughout the city • Pickups from supply houses to be delivered to our warehouse or job sites • Checking packing slips • Navigate through the boroughs of New York City with knowledge of commercial roadways • Help with loading & unloading of materials and equipment (heavy lifting from time to time) • Pick up materials / orders from various vendors • Double check all delivery tickets to make sure we receive everything ordered • Help with clean offs of various job sites • Delivery / Pickup of various drawings, checks, paperwork • Must be able to work well in high pressure situations • Must have clean driving record • Must have experience driving a box truck (CDL not required)
