You’ll encounter a few small rapids as the Colorado River winds through the Gore Range and Mountain Ranchland. This is a relaxing day with time to sunbathe, swim or just relax and enjoy the day on your Colorado River rafting trip. The Colorado float half-day trip is available for two departures per day. This trip departs from our Kremmling Outpost, where you will check-in and load an AVA vehicle for the 30-minute drive to the Colorado River. We run from Pumphouse Recreation Area to Radium Hot Springs on this trip. Every participant is required to sign a Liability and Release Waiver and assume all risks involved while on tour — Participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Pregnant women, people with heart, leg, spinal problems or other serious illnesses will not be allowed to participate. Additionally, no one under the influence of alcohol/ illegal drugs/ or impairing legal drugs will be allowed to participate.
