Crash Sends SUV Into Bushes Near Nassau Home; 2 Hospitalized

HICKSVILLE, NY — Two people were hospitalized following a two-car crash that sent an SUV into shrubs in front of a Hicksville home. The Hicksville Volunteer Fire Department was called to the crash around 3 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Miller Road and Shari Court. The crash sent the SUV off the roadway and into some shrubs on the front lawn of a Miller Road home, officials said. Two people were taken to a hospital. A third person who was not involved in the crash had trouble breathing and received oxygen from Hicksville EMScrews, but refused other medical attention.
