Dorothy Cotton Jubilee Singers State Theatre of Ithaca ALL AGES Dorothy Cotton Jubilee Singers The Dorothy Cotton Jubilee Singers offer deep, human connection and learning for a wide swath of our Ithaca community. Our annual Martin Luther King, Jr. community celebration has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 4th at 7:30pm! Featuring the Dorothy Cotton Jubilee Singers as well as the GIAC Jumpers, Ithaca Klezmer Quartet and other local Ithaca groups. Come out to the historic State Theatre to celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King. Jr.! This program is made possible in part with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants program from the New York State Council of the Arts, with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Community Arts Partnership of Tompkins County. American Sign Language Translation will be provided thanks to a grant from the Legacy Foundation of Tompkins County. For the safety of our artists, staff, volunteers, and this community, The State Theatre of Ithaca will continue to require proof of vaccination (2 doses of Moderna or Pfizer OR 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson) for all patrons, staff, artists, and crew for admittance to all shows until further notice. Results from a negative COVID test will NOT be accepted for entry for all individuals. This includes children twelve and under. In addition, masks are required to be worn while at the venue and in any common areas.
