Get HOOKED ON FISHING as you reconnect with nature and gain angling experience at this FREE event... Enjoy a day of fishing with family, food, and prizes! The Illinois Department of Natural Resources and Forest Preserve District of Kane County welcome all ages and skill levels to attend this FREE family-friendly event. During this fun day, prizes will be awarded to youth by age group while everyone enjoys the FREE hot dogs, chips, beverages prepared and served by Home Run Hot Dogs & Lemonade. Fishing poles and quick fishing lessons will be available for those in need, and ALL youth participants will have an opportunity to win raffle prizes and other giveaways. Attendees can also view a variety of animal hides and pelts at the Illinois Conservation Police's Wildlife Education Trailer. You MUST register for this event as space is limited.
