SHARON, MA — The Sharon Department of Public Health announced on Friday a fourth case of confirmed coronavirus in the town. Sharon officials said the public health nurse is in contact with all of the cases.
Sharon officials said two of the earlier cases and their close contacts have now met all of their self-quarantine requirements and are able to leave their homes.
According to the CDC, symptoms may appear in as few as two days or as long as 14 days from exposure. Those are experiencing any symptoms should contact a primary care physician. If they become severe, call 911. No one will be denied medical care.
Sharon Health officials also announced that as of the end of the day on Friday all salons and barber shops in the town will be required to close out of a desire to promote social distancing in the town.
