The city of Compton was established May 11, 1888 and it’s original name was ComptonVille California. It took approximately 500 residents to make Compton its own city. Saturday, May 14, 2022 we celebrate 134 years of our beautiful city. We will celebrate this with some of the hottest performers in the city .
