Vibe Gallery is pleased to host a lively discussion with the author, Trvor Cohen, of Bright Green Future,along with Cool Petaluma, Daily Acts and Petaluma Bounty on the transformational thinking that can help us envision and then create a regenerative, resilient, and just future in the places we love. You’ll be treated to an interactive presentation and panel, along with refreshments and a chance to connect with climate and sustainability leaders in your community. PANEL PRESENTERS: COOL PETALUMA: Cool Petaluma in a grassroots effort that launched in January of 2022 with 300+ volunteers ready to take action: preparing for emergencies, reducing carbon emissions, saving water, and building vibrant communities, block-by-block, neighborhood-by-neighborhood. DAILY ACTS: Daily Acts is a holistic education nonprofit that takes a heart-centered approach to inspiring transformative actions that create connected, equitable, and climate resilient communities. We believe in the power of our daily actions to reconnect people to self, community, and place, which helps to heal our society and planet. PETALUMA BOUNTY:: Petaluma Bounty’s mission is to create a thriving local food system with healthy food for everyone through collaboration, education and promoting self-reliance. BRIGHT GREEN FUTURE: The book, Bright Green Future brings together stories of innovators and activists who are building the foundation of a sustainable society. Readers will learn what symbiotic relationships can teach us about switching to renewables, how ecosystems can guide the next industrial revolution, and how the hidden genius of the rainforest and prairies can help us grow food in a warming world.
