Gibbs Cancer Center and the South Carolina Cancer Alliance are partnering to bring cancer awareness to Cherokee County. What a better way to bring in Mother's Day this year! Bring your walking shoes and your mom, wife, aunt, or friend to learn more about cancer awareness in Cherokee County. The Bearden-Josey Center for Breast Health will be present with the mobile mammography unit for breast cancer screenings. A Walk with Mom will take place on Saturday, May 7 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Cherokee County YMCA. A free lunch will be provided for all participants.
