Los Angeles World Airports: Cargo Modernization at LAX Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) has issued a Request For Industry Comments (RFIC) and is hosting an in-person event to inform interested parties of LAWA’s vision for LAX cargo modernization, hear industry feedback and to foster business-to-business engagement between interested firms. LAWA will also conduct individual meetings with RFIC respondents to gain additional industry feedback. These invitation-only meetings will take place at the event, and/or the next day, depending on responses. Participation in the RFIC, and/or the individual meetings, is neither required to participate in any future cargo modernization procurement, nor will participation preclude a firm from participating in a future cargo modernization procurement. Parties Interested in attending the industry event must pre-register. Below, please find a link to register. Registrants should note that space is limited. We look forward to seeing you. Parking: Parking at the event facility is limited. Alternative modes of transportation such as, carpool and rideshare are highly encouraged. 3. COVID Protocol: ALL PERSONS ATTENDING MEETINGS/EVENTS AT LAWA MUST SHOW PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION AGAINST COVID-19 BEFORE BEING ADMITTED TO LAWA OFFICES. Please bring your CDC vaccination card or electronic vaccination record with you to LAWA offices for visual inspection upon entrance to the facilities. Do not email any vaccination record. Note: the only exception will be for City of Los Angeles employees or LAWA consultants/contractors who have received medical or religious exemptions and are being tested on a weekly basis.
