Join us in the garden then into the kitchen to cook with produce that we harvested. They will be learning valuable skills in the garden and the kitchen. Planting, soil preparation, container gardening, weeding, insect control, good bugs verse bad bugs, companion planting, harvesting then off to the kitchen to use products that they harvested. In the kitchen they will learn kitchen safety, spice identifying, recipe writing, and so much more. After 4 weeks they will write a recipe and prepare it for the 6-week competition. The winner's food will be prepared for our Farm to table Dinner the evening of the 7th week July 21 at 6:00. With an award ceremony.
