Description
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — A day of environmentally friendly activities, information and a bike sale will be part of the Swampscott Earth Fest set for Saturday on the Town Hall Lawn.
The free, family-friendly event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include local conservation and climate action groups, vendors, games, free trees, seeds and the bike sale.
The Tree Committee will be giving away 100 free White Oak trees.
The Swampscott Conversancy will hold a workshop on making native seed balls.
The Friends of the Swampscott Rail Trail will host the bike sale.
The rain date for the event is May 7.
