NEW YORK CITY — Armed robbers made off with $65,000 worth of phones from T-Mobile store in The Bronx, police said.
The cell phone heist was captured on an April 21 surveillance video released by the NYPD. It shows a man in a red sweatshirt pull a gun on a store employee after two other men enter the store at Metropolitan Avenue near Parkchester Road.
He appears to stand guard at the store's front until the other men walk out with red sacks over their shoulders.
The men left the store about 1 p.m. and drove off in a white SUV headed west on Metropolitan Avenue, police said.
