Press release from the Village of Shorewood: April 28, 2022 E. Congress Street between N. Woodruff Street and N. Sheffield Avenue will be CLOSED to through traffic on Friday, April 29. This close is anticipated to begin at 7:00 am and remain until 6:00 pm. This is scheduled to be a one-day closure. As part of the 2022 Alley Maintenance Program, LaLonde Contractors will be installing storm sewer pipe from E. Congress Street extending south into the Alley.
