Description

An intro to Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) and intro to Cardiac and Pulmonary POCUS. An intro to Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS); intro to Cardiac and Pulmonary POCUS, including a review of ultrasound imaging and probe handling. A hands-on simulation session will follow to review basic and core clinical, cardiac/pulmonary case modules. Learners will practice hands-on scanning using the hand motion-sensing SonoSim Probe that plugs into the USB port of a laptop, thus replicating the exact tactile experience of using an actual ultrasound probe to scan a real patient.
