NEW MILFORD, CT — New Milford High School Principal Raymond Manka rescinded his resignation following an outpouring of support from the community, according to The Danbury News-Times. Manka had announced his resignation Friday afternoon in an email sent to school parents. An online petition, started by a caregiver of a student at the high school, soon followed that called for the ousting of superintendent Alisha DiCorpo and a walkout by New Milford students. The petition was signed by nearly 1,800 people. Read the full story in The Danbury News-Times.
