SHARON, MA — Sharon community resource K9 Flutie put a scare into the Sharon Police Department when he began losing weight due to a "scary unknown illness" about three weeks ago. But police were happy to report on Thursday that perhaps the town's most famous pup is now recovered from his health concern. "He has regained his body weight and is back to happiness," Sharon police said, "thanks to the love and support of his handler(s). He is looking forward to seeing you very soon." We want to let everyone know that Sharon Community Resource dog Flutie is doing a lot better and was released today from the hospital pending the results of more detailed testing.
