Her name is Alice, shes your green color parakeet. And its not lightly that I make this choice, and to no fault of her own but she would be best in a home with either another parakeet or shes fine as an only bird. I got her as a companion for a young female keet who just appeared to have a seizure and pass away in the middle of the bight (very random only know what happened because i got up to go to the bathroom and noticed her on the bottom of the cage because the bottom bit isn't covered by the blanket). But since my cockatiel who was very neglected came into the picture, Miko has bonded to me and can not and will not go to anyone else even in my home, however i have to put alice to bed first and wake her up later(only about an hr) but they seem to make each other back slide in training and bonding to me. Mikos bonded to me but only if alices cage is covered-other wise they both scream. While im home they both have free roam and prefer to be together. Alice doesnt hate me but has never really bonded to me either. She gets a proper diet a mix of smart pellets and seed as well as chop a variety of greens and veggies usually. As well as uvb/day light bulb.. Very small rehoming fee. Will send pics to those interested.
