Heritage West
Heritage West: The West Philadelphia Community Archaeology Project, is a collaboration between community organizations the People’s Emergency Center CDC, Black Bottom Tribe Association, University City Arts League, Penn Museum, and Penn Anthropologists.
Over the course of the next two years, we invite neighbors to engage with the concept of local heritage, develop a community archive, and embark on a local excavation at a location to be determined by the community.
