Press release from the City of Ankeny: April 27, 2022 The Ankeny Police Department is seeking public assistance with locating Yalena "Star" Moore (13) of Des Moines. Moore walked out of Parkview Middle School yesterday (Apr. 26) shortly after school began and has not been seen since that time. Moore is of partial Native American decent, has a nose ring and has brown hair. She was last seen wearing dark grays sweatpants and a gray hoodie with "Airforce" across the front.
