SANTA MONICA, CA — Several Los Angeles County beaches are under an ocean water use warning Thursday night, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
Officials caution people who are planning to visit the following beaches before swimming, surfing and playing in the ocean:
Mother's Beach in Marina Del ReyMalibu Lagoon at Surfrider BeachSanta Monica Pier in Santa MonicaCastlerock Storm Drain at Topanga County Beach These warnings have been issued due to bacterial levels exceeding health standards when last tested, officials said.
