Here are the top three stories today in Chattanooga: A German media outlet has shared a report that claims that Volkswagen is considering building a second plant in Chattanooga. The new plant will allegedly be built next to the existing plant. The media outlet claims that the second plant would help Volkswagen distance itself from relying on China. (MyFox Chattanooga)Mayor Tim Kelly is inviting the community to participate in a newly structured State of the City. The event will be changed into a community conversation about the future of Chattanooga instead of a one-way monologue addressing the residents. The new event will be on May 5 at the Tivoli Theatre with doors opening at 1:30 p.m. (Chattanooga Pulse)Some Hamilton County parents are upset that they were not notified about their students receiving a sexually-explicit email through school accounts. Hamilton County Schools is allegedly conducting an investigation into the email that contained teachers and students identified by name.
