Description
Hello fellow musicians, I'm a professional level bass player in my early 30s looking for any legitmate paid situation. That means I have no interest playing little local spots for 40 bucks and a bar tab. And I'm not looking just to "jam". Ideally Id like to join a lounge act or a group with a residency in a nice place. I have experience playing jazz, rock, funk, R&B, reggae, metal, punk, and country. So I have a large vocabulary of songs ready to go. Im primarily looking for cover acts or bands that do a mix of covers and originals, however I am down for an original project if you have a following, gigs, and potential tours planned. I'd also need to hear some recordings prior to my audition. No, I'm not driving to hendertucky because you insist you're "really good".
I subscribe to the philosophy that practice is done at home and rehearsal is done prior to performance. Therefore I am not a fan of countless band practices, as I do my homework at home and show up prepared when the time comes. I'm a quick study and can be ready with minimal time. I have high quality gear, reliable transportation, a strong work ethic, and will be an asset to your band. If you're interested, please include a set list, live recording, and tell me what gigs you have performed recently. I can provide videos on request. Looking forward to hearing from you.
