Press release from the City of Springfield: April 27, 2022 The Springfield Fire Department responded to more than 2,900 calls for service (including 94 building fires), installed 106 smoke alarms, assisted with COVID-19 vaccine clinics, participated in training opportunities and reopened Fire Station 10 during the first quarter of 2022.
