Here are the top three stories today in Savannah: The Savannah City Council is expected to vote on an $80,000 proposal meant to reduce nighttime-related issues in the city. The proposal is being recommended by the Office of Special Events, Film, and Tourism. The program would pinpoint issues while strategizing solutions with the Responsible Hospitality Institute. (WSAV-TV)The City of Savannah is searching for local artists to help it with a storm drain painting project. The art installation will be on 10 different storm drains to promote protecting the city's waterways. Artwork proposals can be submitted to the city through Jun. 5.
