I wrote HaHaHa on here yesterday Regarding the water shortage for 6 million people. Around 1968, there were about 18 million people in Ca. now there are 40 million In one article I read, the author told us the cause of the water shortage, she moved to Ca in 1977.. It is funny that those that have moved here in the last 50 years are not part of the problem... It is easy to place the blame on some on else. Look around today, all the new home building, apt, town homes etc: yet we have less water then last year.. They have pumped so much ground water out that the Central Valley is sinking at 60cm per year it is not long the "bread basket" of America. I've lived in Ca all my life, my great, +++ grandfather came here in 1869 he was from Pennsylvania had fought in the Civil War, lost and arm or a leg, no one knows for sure, and worked in a general store. There are too many people in Ca. in fact the country is over crowded. when you consider there are 35 million unemployed and millions more underemployed. Sorry got a little side tracked. This is about water, or lack of it. Has anyone new reporter asked the members of the state legislature, the county board of supervisors, the Mayors of our cities, Why all the new residential building, when the state is facing huge problems, or ask them how elected officials become rich while in office... crease the squeaky wheels
