Kaia is a healthy, loving one-year-old Maine Coon. She is medium-sized (9 pounds) and has long, soft fur that is not prone to matting or excessive shedding. When frisky, she gets the zoomies until she is tired, takes a break for some love, and returns to leisurely batting a ball. She is very affectionate, and enjoys petting so much that she may nip or pull your hand toward her with her paw; while it is an expression of love and gratitude, it is a habit that we (and you) can work with her to resolve. Kaia is harness-trained so she can safely walk outdoors. She has perfect litter box hygiene; her tenacity about burying her deposits leads us to recommend a litter box with tall sides. She loves her scratching post and has wonderful household habits. Kaia finds dogs and other cats very stressful, so she must be the only fur baby of the household. You will become Kaia’s whole world.
