National Bartenders Staffing Service Our History NB Staffing was started in 2013 by Paul Michaels out in beautiful Thousand Oaks in May 2014. Today, NB Staffing has six offices, and serves all of LA County, Santa Barbara County, Ventura County, Inland Empire, Orange County, Bakersfield, and continues to grow in states outside of California Staffing Roles NBS staffs: Bartenders, Bussers, Servers, Cooks, Valet and Security Training is crucial and all of these positions require training. Job Descriptions Bartender – A fully trained and licensed person who is able to make mixed drinks quickly and accurately. Also must be physically able to both setup a bar and tear it down. Busser – An individual who is able to move quickly through an event providing water and removing used dishes, silverware and other items from guest tables without being a distraction. Server – A fully trained server is able to bring food and drinks to tables in the proper manner expected at ‘plated events’. All persons at positions with proven experience can be immediately deployed on events in the role they are qualified for. People without experience can join any of our schools for bartending training all the way through licensing and/or the Hospitality Training which gets bussers and servers ready for working events.
